Christmas Markets

We went to the Christmas Markets in Northern Italy last week.
The mountains are called the Alps in Austria and the Dolomites in Italy. The region was once Austrian, but became part of Italy after WW II.
We took the train from Lucca to Bolzano. Actually 2 regional (slow) trains and 1 high speed. Took about 6 hours total, with lots of amazing scenery. We visited the towns of Bolzano, Merano and Bressanone.
