Pistoia and Barga

We took two day trips from Lucca recently. We take a bus to the train station, about 15 minutes. The trains to most of the surrounding small towns run at least once every hour, sometimes more. Usually, we’re in a new place within 1-2 hours total.
We went to the small towns of Pistoia and Barga, which is a lovely hill town.
