We found a nice apartment just outside the walls of Lucca. It is about a 10 minute walk to the wall and the same to a street with shops, restaurants, and cafes.
It’s on 1st floor, which is 2nd floor in the US, their 1st floor is called ground floor.
We have met a number of nice people and found a few favorite restaurants.
